Our winter work is built around commercial and multi-unit properties, where a missed morning means closed businesses, blocked fire routes and slip-and-fall exposure. We take on a limited number of residential contracts each season, mainly for existing maintenance clients and larger properties.

24/7 monitoring and dispatch
We track the forecast and the radar through the season and send crews when your site hits the trigger set in your contract, overnight, on weekends and on holidays. You do not have to call us; we are already moving.
Plowing of lots, laneways and fire routes
Parking areas, drive aisles, loading zones and fire routes are cleared so your tenants, staff and customers can get in before the day starts and emergency access is never blocked.
Sidewalk and walkway crews
Dedicated hand and small-equipment crews clear entrances, walkways, accessible routes, stairs and fire exits, the areas where most slip-and-fall claims happen and where a plow truck cannot reach.
Salting and de-icing
Lots and walkways are treated to keep ice from forming and to manage freeze-thaw cycles. Depending on how you want your contract structured, salt is either included in the seasonal price or billed per application, so you can choose the level of cost certainty that suits your budget.
Snow hauling and relocation
When piles start eating parking spaces or blocking sight lines, we bring in loaders to relocate snow on site or haul it away. Relocation is quoted separately from your seasonal contract so you only pay for it in the winters that need it.
How our winter contracts work
Seasonal flat rate. One agreed price covers the season from November through April, however many times it snows. Your winter cost is known in the fall and does not climb with a bad February.
Multi-year agreements. For larger commercial properties we offer two- and three-year terms, which lock in pricing and keep the same crew on your site year after year. Several of our commercial clients have renewed with us for decades.
Salt your way. Choose salt included in the flat rate, or pay per application. Snow relocation is always priced separately.
One contract, all year. Many clients bundle winter service with our year-round property maintenance so a single team handles grounds, gardens and snow, with one point of contact and one invoice.

Where we plow
Winter service is available across Halton Hills, Milton, Burlington, Oakville, Waterdown, Ancaster, Stoney Creek and Hamilton. Because our crews work from the Milton shop, sites in Halton Hills, Milton, Burlington and Oakville are on our most direct routes.
Winter service questions
When should we sign a snow contract?
Early fall. Routes are planned and equipment is assigned before the first snowfall, and we cap the number of properties on each route so response times hold up in a big storm. Once the routes are full for the season, we stop taking contracts.
What triggers a plow visit?
Your contract sets the trigger depth and the timing for your property. Sites with early-morning traffic, fire routes or accessibility requirements can be set to a lower trigger and an earlier completion time.
Is salt included?
Your choice. Some clients prefer salt built into the seasonal flat rate for budget certainty; others pay per application. We will price both ways so you can compare.
Is snow removal from the site included?
Plowing pushes snow to designated pile areas on your property. Relocating or hauling those piles away is loader work and is quoted separately when it is needed.
Do you clear residential driveways?
We take on a limited number of residential contracts each winter, mainly for existing maintenance clients and larger properties on our commercial routes. Ask and we will tell you honestly whether we have room.
Can we combine snow with summer maintenance?
Yes, and most of our commercial clients do. A year-round agreement covers lawn and garden maintenance, seasonal cleanups and winter service under one contract.
